Happy August Everyone

We’ve got some great news...according to my calculations we’re a little over     80%

Complete towards our final goal. I had a great conversation with our Canadian Director about a week ago and she’s going to do the official accounting the beginning of September. This makes August a very important month for us. Please pray with us that the funds and faith pledges would be there to be counted, and that we can be released to do what God has planned for us. The current suggestion is the end of August if the count in September goes  well...we're very close!!

I wanna take this time to thank all of you who have supported us and prayed for us up until this point. Without your faithfulness and generosity we couldn’t have made it this far. We say thank you for being a tangible picture of God’s love and grace in our lives. Each person that gives we know is someone that is willing to pray for us and are to pray for Mexico and the work there.  His timing is perfect the project in Mexico has gotten to the point of beginning to clear the land for a new church...it would be awesome if we could arrive in time to help with the construction process.

2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I watched a movie recently called Faith Like Potatoes. It’s about a Scotsman who moved from Zambia to South Africa and in the process God touches his life and he becomes a radical voice for Jesus. While they are in South Africa they encounter a lot of difficulties because of a drought and also because of the turbulent times in the nation’s history and the problems between the races. It’s at this time that the farmer begins to believe God and that he needs to lead a revival. Through God’s hand the largest stadium in South Africa is opened up to him and farmers and their workers, blacks and whites, to come together to pray about the violence in South Africa and the drought.
It made me think of Mexico....there is no race issue there but there is a huge violence problem...but as God has promised and I believe it to be true for Mexico...If they will turn and seek HIS face, God WILL HEAL their land. It can be done!!

Blessings on all of you and we look forward to sharing more of this journey with you all!!
