Counting blessings!!

Some days its easy to look and see what the Jone's have and we don't. In an age where consumerism is at an all time high and people's debt/income ratios are extremely high, we sometimes miss the small blessings the Lord gives us. Every day is filled with His touch on our lives. There is nothing that can touch us for good or for bad that He does not have control over.
      "Every good and perfect gift comes from above." Jm1:17...
      "You are like a wall protecting not only him, but his entire 
       family and all his property..." Job 1:10a
But do we consider the smaller blessings we receive from God. Not the new job or the new car or the wife/husband we asked for...some of us are still trying to see the blessing in the last one...but the smaller things that God blesses your day or life with. Have you thanked Him for all His blessings.
For me I'm thankful for a wife and a mother that have a great relationship. I know it's not a common thing that in-laws always get along, but God has blessed me with extended family that is truly a blessing. From my sister's husband to my wife's parents and her siblings, having a family that loves one another is truly a blessing...and although sometimes taken for granted, not that small.

Can you thank God for the people and the relationships He has blessed your life with?
